BFI Notes on Fellini's LA DOLCE VITA

Each of the five times I have taught cultural studies courses abroad in London, I have built my classes around the British Film Institute headquarters along the Thames; not only is it one of the best places for books, brews, and people-watching in London, it is also the site of world cinema's British palace: BFI!  

I think if I know anything about movies, it is from sitting in on screenings and having discussions about cinema at this beautiful facility on the south bank of the Thames...

What do I love best? Probably the cool notes movie-goers get at every showing; here's the handout from LA DOLCE VITA from 2009:
